Course conditions at Restigouche Golf Club

Greens ⇒ are in excellent condition, speed is moderate to fast and receptive to most shots.
Fairways ⇒ are firm with a few soft areas with about 3/4 inch of rough.
Course Rules/Policies
Playing golf is about relaxing and having fun. However, to ensure the well being of all our members and guests at Restigouche Golf Course we must enforce certain rules of conduct.
When you pay your green fees or membership it is understood that you and your group are aware of the following rules and submit to their specifications, especially those concerning divots, alcohol and courtesy.
Course staff/marshal shall have full control of play and will enforce all rules.
REGISTRATION
All players must register at the Pro-Shop prior to commencing play.
At the starter’s discretion, singles and twosomes will be paired into threesomes and foursomes during busy times.
Each golfer needs to have their own set of clubs.
Must be at least 19 years of age to rent carts, 16 to drive. When operating carts drive safely and where possible stay on the paths. Keep carts 30 feet from any green.
RULES OF PLAY
Except for local rules, all play is governed by the current regulations of the RCGA. For local rules, please consult your score card.
Players are required to replace divots, rake sand traps, and repair ball marks and help maintain the condition of the course.
ETIQUETTE/SLOW PLAY
All players are required to observe course etiquette at all times. Please respect your fellow golfers’ right to enjoy their game.
At Restigouche we will extend every effort to ensure that a round of golf does not exceed four and a half hours. Players failing to maintain their place by dropping more than a hole from those in front will be asked to catch up to the group ahead or let faster groups play through. Play ready golf.
DRESS CODE
Restigouche Golf Club is a family oriented environment and as such sets a reasonable standard of dress that is required at all times. All articles of clothing must be clean, free of rips and free of holes. Shirts or tops must be worn at all times.
Examples of “unacceptable” attire include:
• Cut-off shorts
• Bathing suits
• Gym or track pants
• Sleeveless shirts (men)
• Tank tops
• Halter tops
• Any garment displaying an offensive statement
• Any footwear that can cause damage to the golf course
Persons in violation of dress code will be asked to comply or to respectfully leave the premises.
SMOKING POLICY
In accordance with the provincial government’s "Smoke Free Act", the entire clubhouse and the Pro-Shop is designated a smoke free area.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All regular tee times may be booked up to 1 day prior to play by calling 789-7628. For online booking visit www.restigouchegolf.com , a valid credit card with expiry date, is required to identify you and hold a tee time (credit card will not be charged). If you cannot make your reserved tee time please notify us by calling 789-7628. Green fee/guest times may be booked up to 1 week in advance of play.
RAINCHECK POLICY
"Rain Out" is defined as an unplayable course, as determined by the Greens’ Superintendent or the General Manager. Rain checks will only be issued for those types of green fees that have been paid for during the “rain out”. 18 hole players who have completed 5 holes or less will be issued an 18 hole rain check. 18 hole players who have completed 14 holes or less will be issued a 9 hole rain check and 9 hole players who have completed 4 holes or less will be issued a 9 hole rain check. For golfers on the 14th hole and beyond, no rain check will be issued. NO CASH REFUNDS will be issued.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Absolutely no outside coolers or alcohol are permitted on the golf course property. Any golfer with an outside cooler or alcohol on the premises will have the cooler/alcohol confiscated and/or asked to leave the Golf Course with no refunds or reimbursement.
OTHER
The golf course maintenance staff shall have the right of way at all times when working on the golf course. It is the golfer’s responsibility to allow our grounds crew to perform their daily tasks in a safe efficient manner.
Restigouche Golf Club assumes no liability or responsibility for any personal injury to golfers or damage and/or theft of vehicles or personal property that are left on the premises.
