Course Rules
Playing golf is about relaxing and having fun. However, to ensure the well being of all our members and guests at Restigouche Golf Course we must enforce certain rules of conduct.
When you pay your green fees or membership it is understood that you and your group are aware of the following rules and submit to their specifications, especially those concerning divots, alcohol and courtesy.
Please observe the following rules:
Course staff/marshal shall have full control of play and will enforce all rules.
Outside alcoholic beverages will not be permitted within the confines of the golf course. A violation of this rule will result in the immediate removal of the individual without financial compensation.
No more than four players may play together at any time; one ball is to be played per person. At the starter’s option singles and twosomes may be paired into threesomes and foursomes during busy periods.
Players are required to replace divots, rake sand traps and repair their ball marks on the greens.
Proper dress code will be enforced. Please call the pro shop (789-7628) for clarification.
Maintain a good pace. Keep the round moving by being prepared to hit your shot when your turn comes. Allow faster groups to play through.
Wait for players ahead to be out of range prior to hitting. Keep it safe: golf balls and golf clubs can do a lot of damage to a human body and a golf course.
Keep bags and carts away from tees and greens.
When driving a golf cart use sound judgement, pay particular attention to the posted cart rules.
